WHAT IS MUSHROOM MYCELIUM?

Mycelium (1).png

Mushroom mycelium is obtained by taking tissue from the insides of a mushroom and cultivating it in a nutrient-rich substrate under the right conditions of temperature and humidity.

Mycelium is the equivalent of a juvenile stage mushroom, rich in protein and prebiotics (mushroom polysaccharides) but with a texture that is younger and softer than that of a mushroom.

Cultured by liquid fermentation, mushroom mycelium is juicy and has the nutritional advantage of being more easily digested and absorbed.
